When you throw in the various spell cards available, this can potentially result in a fairly lengthy chain. Every time either player puts down a card their own opponent will have an opportunity to respond. This means that only one person can attack per turn, but both will be able to play cards. The gameplay of Legends of Runeterra is split up into rounds with each player being on either offence or defence, depending on whether they have a shield or sword on their side of the field. We can expect to see the game for iOS and Android in late 2020. Those of you familiar with League will know by that name that it'll be set in the same universe as Riot's MOBA titan. During Riot's bid to more than triple the number of games in their library, they also revealed a digital card game called Legends of Runeterra.
